iARTA was formally adopted as one of six interdisciplinary areas to be supported at the University of North Texas under the new Research Cluster program. Over $25 million dollars has been pledged to support these initiatives over the coming years. You can read the full press release here.

iARTA is a research cluster at the University of North Texas. Investigating interdisciplinary approaches to arts, criticism, and engineering, iARTA brings together faculty members from the departments of Music Composition, Music Theory, Studio Arts, Art History, Radio Television Film, Dance Theater, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering.
