Melinda Levin, Department Chair of Radio Television and Film at UNT, is the Co-Executive Producer of a feature length documentary called the Global Rivers Project.  Here is her brief description of the project:

“We had crews in India, Brazil, Serbia, Slovakia and the U.S. documenting the cultures and communities on 5 major rivers, including the Rio Grande, Amazon, Mississippi, Danube and Ganges. In addition to the film, the production tested high-definition workflow on an international, documentary production.”

Partial funding and support was provided by Panasonic, Avid Technologies and B&H Photo/Video in NYC.  This film will premiere in Beijing, China in November.
