This work and others, collaboratively created and performed with Ali Momeni of the University of Minnesota, will be used as the starting point for a hands on workshop taught for students of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and the Higher Institute for Fine Arts in Ghent.

“We had crews in India, Brazil, Serbia, Slovakia and the U.S. documenting the cultures and communities on 5 major rivers, including the Rio Grande, Amazon, Mississippi, Danube and Ganges. In addition to the film, the production tested high-definition workflow on an international, documentary production.”

Partial funding and support was provided by Panasonic, Avid Technologies and B&H Photo/Video in NYC.  This film will premiere in Beijing, China in November.

Over $25 million dollars has been pledged to support these initiatives over the coming years. You can read the full press release here.
